                  DEMON APOCALYPSE
In the Book "Demon Apocalypse" by Darren Shan, The main character Grubs Grady had many challenges and obstacles he had to overcome. From learning how to fly, to learning advanced magic, to traveling through TIME and SPACE! Darren's adventure was full of grief and relief, but he learns many things in his pathway. He lost things and also gained things. Overall the gruesome, but amazing book is a roller coaster of twists and turns that kept the reader craving for more!

In the beginning of the book Darren was tricked by his beloved mother figure "Juni." They mounted a plane and Darren, thinking nothing could go wrong, was never more wrong in his life. The plane was full of demons , including the demon master "Lord Loss!" Darren trying to fight them, but he didn't have the strength. The Demons overcame him easily. As Darren begins to lose all hope. An old man springs to his feet, breaks a hole in the plane and pushes Darren out, the old man also jumps out. In mid flight the old man tells Darren to picture himself flying and he will land safely. The old man immediately starts to fly and leaves Darren behind.
Darren concentrates and began to fly as well. (Lets just say the landing wasn't as easy)

The old mans name was "Beranabus" He is a very powerful Mage. And so is his partner "Kernel Fleck" These two adults teach Grubs how to overcome demon power and face any obstacle. Sadly their power wasn't strong enough to face any of the demons and they lost in battle losing all their friends and family. Luckily the spirit of the dead mage, "Bec" used her spirit to bring all these mages back in time.

In this period the mages had the opportunity  to plan out what they would do during battle and the plan was full proof. They slayed all the demons, but at one cost. They had to sacrifice Grub's half brother Bill-E in the process. Grubs was hurt badly, but the dead spirit of bec resurrected into the body of Bill-E and destroyed the remaining threats. The battle was won, but nothing was gained. Just pain and misery.
